According to Wikipedia, Lagwagon was released 18 years ago on this day. Wow! It felt like yesterday when I was trying to buy either Trashed or The Offspring album Smash.

I started listening to punk in about 95, so what 1 year after Trashed came out? The first bands I really heard were Bad Religion, Misfits, etc. I heard some Lagwagon, but didnt get into them until just before Blaze. They still play good, I wish they had that fire like they did early on. Its ok though, I am losing my fire as well.

some of my private messages go back 5 years, how long have the oldtimers been around here? I am going to guess about 10 years? Should we move this group to Facebook and keep it going?

We've moved it to Facebook. The Lagwagon page has been around since about 1998.
Trashed changed my life. I was growing bored with punk, and besides Bad Religion and Pennywise, there really wasn't any good punk being made. Then I heard Trashed, and my life had meaning again.
People forget how ground breaking Trashed was. I had never heard anything like it, and had been listening to punk for about 12 years when Trashed came out.

The first lagwagon album i heard was Hoss, in 95" then i found out about trashed, maybe a year later. (weird)??
I think Trashed is one of the most important punk Albums ever produced!!! Especially when punk was blowing up in the mainstream around 93-94 era, with Albums like Smash, and Dookie? Trashed Shits on both those albums combined!
Great Album, Great memories, a timeless classic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
